#Offline methods
Cash on delivery and card on delivery need no configuration. Turn them on and they appear at checkout. Orders paid this way stay unpaid until someone marks them paid.
#Online providers
Restro supports Stripe, Paymob, Paystack, Razorpay, Adyen, Checkout.com, Mollie, PayPal, Flutterwave, MercadoPago, Braintree, Worldpay, Xendit, PayU, PayFast, HyperPay, Amazon Payment Services, and more.
To add one, pick it from the list and paste the credentials from that provider's own dashboard. Each provider's page lists exactly which keys it needs and where to find them.
Credentials are encrypted before they are stored and are never shown back to you in full.
#How an online payment completes
- The customer checks out and Restro creates a payment session with the provider.
- The customer pays on the provider's page.
- The provider calls Restro's webhook.
- Restro verifies the signature, checks the amount matches the order to the cent, and marks the order
paid— promoting it toconfirmedif it was still pending.
If the amount does not match, Restro withholds the payment, flags the order for review, and does not confirm it. This is the check that stops a tampered redirect from confirming a 500 order for 5.
#Refunds
Where the provider supports API refunds, refunding from the dashboard pushes the refund to the gateway. Otherwise Restro records the refund and you move the money yourself. Either way the order and your reports reflect it.
