Your website
Themes, branding, custom domains, and what customers see.
Enabling the Website channel gives you a full ordering site immediately at yoursubdomain.tryrestro.com.
#Themes
Three designs ship with Restro, and switching between them changes nothing about your data:
- Taste — the default. Warm, image-forward, built around large food photography.
- Gazette — editorial and typographic. Works well for menus with long descriptions and few photos.
- Nocturne — dark and high-contrast. Suits bars and late-night venues.
Website in the sidebar. Pick a theme, then set your colours, fonts, and hero content. The preview updates as you edit.
#What you can change
- Brand colours and typography
- Hero image and headline
- Which categories are featured
- Whether reviews are shown
- Policy pages linked in the footer
#Custom domains
Website → Domains. Add your own domain, then create the DNS records Restro shows you at your registrar. Restro verifies the records and provisions a certificate automatically. Until it verifies, your site keeps serving from the subdomain, so there is no window where customers hit a dead link.
#Languages
With the Localize extension on, the storefront serves each customer their own language, including menu titles and descriptions. Right-to-left languages are laid out correctly rather than mirrored badly.
#Policies
Settings → Policies. Return and refund, privacy, and terms of service. Restro provides a starting template for each; edit it to match how you actually operate. They are linked from your storefront footer and from checkout.
